Amalgamated Vision is Re-engineering the Optical Stack for Augmented Reality

We’re not refining legacy systems — we’re building a new display category from the ground up. DirectAR is a next-gen, monocular optical system positioned at the nasal corner of the eye. It leverages binocular rivalry, the brain’s natural ability to merge disparate visual inputs, creating a seamless integration between digital content and the real world.

Two hardware paths. One perceptual engine.

  • Laser MEMS Virtual Retinal Display — ultra-light, precision retinal projection for high-performance environments

  • MicroOLED Microdisplay — compact, high-resolution flat panel projector for scalable applications

This is not see-through, not pass-through, and not peripheral assisted reality. It’s DirectAR— the world’s first symetric on-axis optical stack for visual augmentation.
